Promalock (also translated as Promarock) is a port town located on the northern area of the Gllia Region on the Eresian continent. It is located south of Esteria and faces the Duarl Sea.

Adventurer Adol Christin explores Promalock during the backstory of Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished. Travelling through the city, he overhears rumors about the Stormwall that surrounds the neighboring island of Esteria. Adol decides to investigate the phenomenon, leading to the events of Ancient Ys Vanished. Although this backstory is not shown in the games, it is shown on the Prologue episode of the Ys Legacy anime series.
After the events of Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished – The Final Chapter, Adol returns to Promalock during the opening sequence of Ys IV: Mask of the Sun, where the city is explorable.
